Jason G. Bullard has been an advisor to small and medium-sized businesses since 2007. He began his accounting career at a local Reno, Nevada CPA firm that primarily served clients in the real estate and construction industries, many of whom were high net worth individuals who owned or invested in businesses in those sectors. Jason obtained his CPA license in 2009 and has maintained a focus on real estate investors and construction contractors ever since.

In 2010, Jason began assisting another local CPA, Pete Umphress, whose practice was almost entirely focused on construction contractors. Pete is well known in the Northern Nevada and Northern California areas for his deep expertise in construction accounting, as he has roots in the construction industry dating back to the late 1970s. Jason and Pete developed a close working relationship that eventually led to a formal purchase of Pete’s accounting practice in January 2018.

In 2017, Jason also began working with Bruce W Thee & Associates, a Reno, NV CPA firm focused on high net worth individuals and partnerships with a heavy concentration in real estate. Jason continued working with Bruce W Thee & Associates until the founding partner retired in 2020, at which time the firm was renamed as Edmonson Bullard & Co., Ltd.

Jason is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Tax Section, the Association of Builders and Contractors of Nevada, and the Associated General Contractors.

Jason enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife, Kathyleen. When he is not cycling, he may be found hiking, playing tennis, or volunteering at Mountainside Community Church, where he serves as both treasurer and keyboard player.
